FPCI encourages Iowa schools to continue providing HPV education

Recent legislation removed the requirement, but does not prohibit teaching this important information

The Family Planning Council of Iowa (FPCI) joins other statewide and national organizations in strongly encouraging all Iowa school districts to continue providing education about human papillomavirus (HPV), the vaccine to prevent HPV, and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) in school.
