The 20-foot IUD stood proudly in Cowles Commons in downtown Des Moines on Tuesday morning, August 6.
Speakers Iowa Rep. Megan Srinivas, Iowa Sen. Sarah Trone Garriott, community leader Lanon Baccam, and FPCI Executive Director Allison Smith talked about the threat to contraception access and how we need to stand together to protect it. FPCI offered free reproductive health kits and resources for Iowans, including information on where to access Title X family planning clinics across the state.
