Synopsis
The quiet town of Riverdale is in shock after the mysterious death of Jason Blossom, a popular high school student. The series opens in September, the beginning of a new school year, that brings new students, relationships, and reveals the mysteries of the past 4th of July. In order to solve this mystery, a group of friends must first unlock the secrets that lie buried under the surface of their hometown. Riverdale may not be as innocent as it seems.
While uncovering truths about Jason’s death other high school students are uncovering truths of their own. Archie Andrews, Riverdale’s most charming, discovers his love for music and his teacher Ms. Grundy. Betty Cooper unravels her feelings for Archie, and her family secrets. Veronica Lodge might be the new girl, but her family’s dark reputation followed. Cheerleader captain Cheryl Blossom, Jason’s twin sister, does not know who to trust during these hard times. With Jughead Jones investigating everyone’s personal secrets no stone is left unturned. Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead band together to find the mysteries behind Jason Blossom’s death. While the group uncovers clues that get closer to knowing the truth it seems like their parents are hiding secrets of their own.
